Erika Gonzalez is an American anchor and reporter working for NBC4 as a weekend evening anchor and reporter at 6 and 11 pm. She also reports during weekdays on 4 Your Home which airs at 11 pm, in addition to filing in on the anchor desk of Telemundo 44. Gonzalez joined the NBC4 team in 2011.
For her stories, she has traveled to Boston where she covered the bombing at the marathon, to El Salvador where she investigated ruthless gangs and their ties to the area, and for her coverage, she received an Emmy nomination, Moore, Oklahoma, after tornadoes ravaged parts of that region. In addition, she relocated to Washington from Texas which is her native home.
