Erik Barajas is an American is an American anchor and reporter who is currently working at ABC13 Houston. He joined the KTRK-TV news team in March 2008.
Prior to joining the ABC13 Houston team, he worked at KSAT 12 in San Antonio where he worked for four years serving as a weekend anchor and reporter. While working in Texas he has served as an anchor and reporter.
Barajas started his television career at KZTV 10 in Corpus Christi, Texas where he served as a news photographer, reporter, producer, and anchor. In addition, he later relocated to Austin, Texas where he worked at KTBC Fox 7 serving as the station’s weekend anchor and reporter.
Furthermore, over the years, he has covered the crash of the space shuttle Columbia on the borders of Texas and Louisiana. In addition, he cover President Barack Obama’s visit to Austin, Texas, and traveled to Louisiana where he covered the Gulf Oil spill.
