Williams is a proud graduate of Mt. Tahoma High School. He then attended the University of Puget Sound where he received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), in English Language and Literature. He also received a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing from The University of Memphis, in 1995. Williams has reported on the NFL for more than a decade, covering the Los Angeles Rams for Sports Illustrated, the Los Angeles Chargers for ESPN, and the Seattle Seahawks for the Tacoma News Tribune.
