Eboni Deon Biography
Eboni Deon is an American meteorologist working for WSB as the weekend morning meteorologist. She joined the WSB weather team in December 2018, after previously working for WFTV-TV in Orlando.
Indianapolis, Indiana is Deon’s native home and she attended Jackson State University in Jackson where she graduated with a MS with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology. She also studied at Mississippi State University where she earned a Master of Geosciences with a focus on Broadcast Meteorology. In addition, she is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Deon had previously resided and worked in Atlanta for almost 10 years while working for CNN International and The Weather Channel. Not long ago, she worked at WFTV in Orlando, Florida where she served as a weekend morning meteorologist. Prior to joining WFTV, she worked at WISH-TV in Indianapolis, Indiana where she served as a weekend evening meteorologist. In addition, Eboni began her career at the National Weather Networks in Jackson, Mississippi.
After working at National Weather Network for while she decided to leave the station for The Weather Channel Radio Network where she served as a radio broadcast meteorologist. Not long after, Eboni joined The Weather Channel as an on-camera meteorologist. Furthermore, Deon has also worked for Al Jazeera America in New York City and CNN International as a weathered reporter. During her spare time, she enjoys vacationing at the beach and traveling.
