Duke Castiglione is an American sports anchor working for WCVB-TV as the lead sports anchor and he can be seen on weeknights and on Sunday at 11:30 pm. He joined the WCVB team in Janaury 2018, as a weekend evening anchor and general assignment reporter.
Prior to joining WCVB, Duke worked at WNYW Fox 5 in New York where he served as a sports anchor and host of Sports Extra, on Sunday nights. Over the years Castiglione has covered many World Series, Super Bowls, and hosted many television and radio sports programs and special events. In addition, Duke also worked for WHDH in Boston, where he served as a sports reporter.
Castiglione has also worked at ESPN where he served as a sideline reporter for their Major League Baseball and College Football games. Prior to that, he worked at New York’s WCBS-TV where he served as the morning sports anchor and reporter. In addition, Castiglione has also served as the host of NY1’s live call-in program known as Sports on 1.
Furthemore, Duke has received the an Associated Press Award for Best Sports Show. Castiglione started his broadcasting career at Cape 11 News in Hyannis, Massachusetts and not long after, he left the station and joined WGGB News in Springfield, Massachusetts.
