Ducis Rodgers is an American sports anchor working for 6 ABC as the sports director, he can be seen on weeknights at 6 pm, and 11 pm and on Action News at 10 on PHL17. He joined the 6 ABC team in August 2012.
Before joining 6 ABC, he worked at ESPN for a number of years as host of Outside the Lines and Sportscenter. He also served as a play-by-play announcer for the NCAA Baseball Regionals and spent a couple of years on ESPN First Take. Prior to working at ESPN, he also served as a sports director for WCBS-TV in New York. In addition, while he was at WCBS-TV, he also worked as the lead sports anchor and reporter from 2003 to 2009.
Over the years, Ducis has covered the World Series and Super Bowls. He has also traveled during the start of the 2004 Tokyo season with the New York Yankees team. Ducis has also worked at WDEF-TV in Chattanooga, Tennessee where he served his journalism career as an anchor/ reporter. In addition, Rodgers has also worked at WSVN-TV in Miami where he served as a sports anchor.
