Drea de Matteo Biography
Drea de Matteo is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Adriana La Cerva on the HBO television drama The Sopranos (1999–2006). Her other notable roles include Gina Tribbiani on Joey (2004–2006), Wendy Case on Sons of Anarchy (2008–2014), Angie Bolen on Desperate Housewives (2009–2010), and Detective Tess Nazario on Shades of Blue (2016–2018).
Drea de Matteo Career
In pursuit of his dream of becoming a film director, de Matteo attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in film production from the Loyola School. She attended the HB Studio to further her acting studies. One of De Matteo’s first roles, which helped launch her career, was in The Sopranos. Swordfish, Deuces Wild, The Perfect You, Prey for Rock & Roll, and the 2005 reimagining of John Carpenter’s 1976 action movie Assault on Precinct 13 are just a few of the movies in which she has acted. She starred in R Xmas, directed by Abel Ferrara, and got some great reviews for it. Wendy responds that Tara doesn’t know her very well and that it’s difficult for her to understand why Wendy attempted suicide. To talk to Wendy, Jax goes back to the hospital.
