Dorit Kemsley is an American fashion designer and reality TV personality. She is best known for being on the Bravo reality show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The show is currently airing for it’s fourteenth season every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.
Kemsley attended Amity Regional High School in Woodbridge, Connecticut. Following her graduation from Quinnipiac University with a degree in marketing, design, and communication, she embarked on a journey through Europe. Spending a decade in Italy, she contributed significantly to a global swimwear company and played a key role in expanding another swimwear business on an international scale. Returning to New York in her late 20s, she ventured into entrepreneurship, founding her own swimwear company.
This venture has since evolved into the nationally recognized brand Beverly Beach, offering a range of products, including swimwear, athleisure, and home/vacation items such as bronzer, candles, and towels. Upon moving to Los Angeles, she further expanded her business portfolio by developing the swimwear line Beverly Beach and a bridal collection called Nektaria. In 2019, Kemsley made a guest appearance on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles alongside her husband, as they listed their home for sale.

Explaining that she had been targeted by three men in a supermarket robbery after withdrawing the $10,000 cash for Christmas gifts last year.
Many, including former “RHOBH” cast-mate Camille Meyer (nee Grammer), wondered why Kemsley would withdraw so much cash for shopping, and leave it sitting her purse in a grocery cart. In October 2021, she, along with her two children, experienced a harrowing incident when three male burglars robbed her at gunpoint in their Encino home.
