Demetrius Ivory is an American meteorologist working for WGN-TV as a weekday midday meteorologist from 11 am to 12 pm and at 4 pm. He joined WGN-TV in 2013, after previously working in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Prior to Ivory joining WGN-TV, worked at WTAE in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he served as a meteorologist and weather reporter for Channel 4 Action News This Morning. He also previously resided in Youngstown, Ohio where he worked for WYTV. While working at WYTV, he served as a meteorologist, and while at WOHL in Lima, Ohio he served as a chief meteorologist.
In addition, Ivory attended The Ohio State University where he graduated with a degree in atmospheric sciences and a minor in computer science. Over the years, Demetrius has been involved in a number of charitable organizations around western Pennsylvania. Furthermore, ever since 2008, the Pittsburgh Magazine has consecutively named him as the Best Weatherperson.
