Deborah Choe is a Korean-American anchor and reporter working for FOX 35 as a weekend evening co-anchor and reporter. She joined the FOX 35 news team in July 2022, after previously working for KMIZ-TV
Disneyland is Choe’s native home and she attended Chapman University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Television and Broadcast Journalism. After having graduated, she adventures to the Midwest. Prior to relocating to Central Florida, she worked at KMIZ where she served as an evening anchor and investigative reporter. In addition, while Deborah worked for KMIZ, she covered; Former President Donald Trump’s visit to Columbia, an EF3 tornado that tore through the capital city, First Lady Jill Biden’s visit to Columbia, and a former governor’s scandal that eventually led to his resignation.
In addition, for Choe’s investigative work into a school district’s lack of fire drills, she received an Edward R. Murrow. The Missouri Broadcaster’s Association also recognized her as the Best Investigative Reporting and Best News Anchor. Furthermore, she is also part of the Asian American Journalists Association, and she enjoys being involved in the community. During her spare time, she enjoys exploring Orlando and spending ample time with her family.
