David Wade is an American anchor working for WBZ-TV as the co-anchor of the 5 pm, 6 pm, and 11 pm newscast. He joined the WBZ-TV team in November 2007, after previously working for WFXT.
Over the years, Wade has received many Boston/New England Emmy Award nominations. He has also won 25 Emmy awards inclusive of; two for Best Reporter, two for Best Anchor, and many wins for Best Writer. Massachusetts is David’s native home and he was brought up in Somerville. In addition, he previously worked for WFXT-TV in Boston where he served as a weekday anchor at 5 pm and 10 pm.
