David Tillman Biography
David Tillman is an American Emmy award-winning meteorologist who is currently working at ABC13 Houston. He joined the KTRK-TV news team in 2000.
He previously worked at WMC-TV in Memphis and while he was at the station, he served as a meteorologist. He is a member of the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society. In addition, he received his seals of approval from both organizations in 1998.
Tillman attended Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi where he graduated proudly with a Bachelor of Science Degree in meteorology. Furthermore, he started his broadcasting career at WAPT-TV in Jackson where he served as a weekend meteorologist.
After working at WAPT-TV for a year, he joined the National Weather Network where he served as the weekend producer of the weather segments for 35 television stations and 45 radio stations across the United States. In addition, St. Louis is his native home.
