David Lloyd Biography
David Lloyd is an American anchor who is currently working at ESPN. He serves as the Tuesday to Wednesday sports anchor at 7 am alongside Toni Collins at the station. In addition, he joined the ESPN team in October 1997, as the anchor of ESPN News.
He is among ESPN’s longest-tenured anchors and as of the moment, he served as the host of a number of editions of SportsCenter. Previously, he worked at KGTV in San Diego, California where he served as a weekend sports anchor from 1996 to 1997. In addition, he also worked at KTXL in Sacramento from 1990 to 1996 where he served as a weekend sports anchor, and at WCIV in Charleston, South Carolina from 1987 to 1990.
Furthermore, his career in television started in Macon, Georgia where he worked at WMAZ-TV in 1986 where he was an intern. He also resided in New York where he briefly did advertising. Westport, Connecticut is his native home. In addition, he attended Colgate University where he graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in international relations in 1983.
