Dave Osterberg is an American meteorologist working for FOX 13 Tampa Bay where he serves as a morning meteorologist for the popular morning show, Good Day Tampa Bay. He joined the FOX 13 team in March 2004.
Warwick, Rhode Island is his native home and he attended the University of Rhode Island where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Dave also studied at Mississippi State University where he graduated from the Broadcast Meteorology program.
He began his broadcast career at WDTV in Clarksburg, West Virginia and after he left the station, he joined KATC-TV in Lafayette, Louisiana. While he worked at KATC-TV, he has voted the Best Weathercaster in South Louisiana. In addition, he later worked in Raleigh, North Carolina for a period of 7 for a period of seven years. Furthermore, he has been awarded by the American Meteorological Society the CBM seal of approval.
