Darren Kramer Biography
Darren Kramer is an American anchor who is currently working at WTNH. He serves as the anchor of the 5 pm, 5:30 pm, 10 pm, and 11 pm newscast at News 8. In addition, he joined the WTNH team in 1999.

Kramer attended Peshtigo High School where he graduated in 1984 and later on, he went to the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point where he graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in communication.

For thirty years, he has served as an anchor and reporter in Wausau, WI, Springfield, MA, Spokane, St. Louis, Chicago, and Connecticut. His native home is in the woods of northern Wisconsin, in the little town of Peshtigo.
In 2004, he joined WMAQ-TV and while he was there, he served as a weekend anchor and weekday general assignment reporter till 2006. He has also worked at ABC30 FROM 1995 TO 1999 and during his tenure there, he also served as a weekend anchor and weekday general assignment reporter.
In addition, he has also worked at KREM-TV in Spokane, Washington area where he served as the morning, noon, and 6 pm anchor. Prior to working in Spokane, Washington, he also worked at WSAW-TV in Wausau, Wisconsin as a weekday general assignment reporter for a period of one year.
Furthermore, he began his television career at WAOW in Wausau, Wisconsin as a general assignment reporter. His journalism career started at WXYQ Radio and while he was there, he serves as a news anchor/ reporter.
During his spare time, he enjoys spending ample time with his family, being outdoors, and shooting sporting clays.
