Over the years Cunningham has worked as a reporter, host, producer, journalist, and content creator. He is passionate about storytelling and journalism and can be described as the most energetic, motivated, and determined person. Pensacola, Florida is Darrell’s native home and he attended Florida State University where he earned a Bachelor of science degree in communications. In addition, he also studied at Full Sail University where he earned a master of arts degree in new media journalism and a master of science degree in broadcast and digital journalism from Syracuse University.

In Darrell’s previous jobs, he has anchored, produced, reported, and hosted live news and lifestyle-driven shows. He began his career in Tallahassee, Florida at WFSU public media where he served as a weekday talk show host for a period of one year. Later on, he joined ESPNU where he served as a reporter for 2 years. He has also worked for WKRG-TV in Washington, District of Columbia. Furthermore, during his leisure time, he enjoys FaceTiming his family and friends on the East Coast, traveling, exploring Arizona, gaming, volunteering at community events, and spending ample time with his gentle giant Great Dane Thanos.
