Dana Kozlov is an American Emmy Award-winning reporter working for CBS Chicago as a political investigative reporter. She joined the CBS News team in 2003 after previously working at WGN-TV.
Kozlov began her professional career after graduating from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with a degree Bachelor of Science (BS) in Communications/Broadcast Journalism in 1990. She joined the WEEK-TV News, Peoria, IL team in 1992 as an anchor and a reporter. She worked here for three years and then was hired by CNN Chicago in 1995. She then moved on to WGN-TV IN 1995 as a reporter and fill-in anchor for eight years before joining the CBC team where she currently works. With her 28 years of experience, and skills in Field Production, news writing, crisis communications, breaking news, and working on daily, tight deadlines. She was recognized and honored with an Emmy Award.
