Daji Aswad is an American meteorologist and science reporter working for KPRC as a weekend evening meteorologist. She joined the KPRC news team in 2023, after previously working for WISN.
Aswad attended the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. Her career started when she was working for AccuWeather as a meteorologist and producer. She comes to KPRC from Milwaukee’s WISN-TV (Channel 12) where she joined as a weekend evening meteorologist/reporter in September 2020. The last week of September marked her final at the channel. Aswad disclosed her new gig as a weekend evening meteorologist and science reporter on social media, after KPRC-TV, posted a get-to-know article about her on its website.
