Courtney Cole is an American anchor and reporter working for WBZ-TV where he served as a weekend morning anchor and weekday reporter. She joined the WBZ-TV team in 2022.
Chicago is Cole’s native home and she attended Jones College Preparatory where she graduated with a high school diploma. Later on, she joined Hampton University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism in 2012. Prior to graduating, Courtney interned at WVON 1690 AM where she interned as a production assistant, and at WAVY-TV 10/FOX-43 in Portsmouth, Virginia. In addition, Cole worked in Jacksonville, Florida for 4 years before relocating to Boston.
While she worked in Jacksonville, Florida, she served as the anchor of the weekend morning newscast. Courtney loves covering stories that assist in giving a voice to those who feel like they haven’t been heard. Before Jacksonville, Courtney worked in Savannah as an Anchor/Producer/Reporter. Cole began working working in West Palm Beach, Florida where she worked behind the scenes. During her leisure time, she enjoys getting lost in the newspaper or a book, being in the kitchen while trying a new recipe, and planning a visit with family and friends.
