Courtney Bryant is an American anchor working at FOX 5 Atlanta where she serves as the co-anchor of the weeknight 5 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm newscast. She joined the FOX 5 Atlanta team in January 2020.
Prior to joining the FOX 5 Atlanta team, she worked at KMOV-TV in St. Louis, Missouri where she served as an evening anchor. While she worked at KMOV-TV, she was one of only two reporters who were granted a sit-down interview with Missouri governor Eric Greitens who resigned following allegations of sexual misconduct and blackmail. Bryant also covered the 2016 presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton at Washington University.
Furthermore, following the acquittal of St. Louis police officer Jason Stockley, she led extended breaking news coverage of area-wide unrest. Los Angeles is her native home and she earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Pepperdine University. She has also worked in Jerusalem for the former Israel Broadcasting Authority. In addition, Courtney worked at a television station in Bakersfield, California and spent a number of years freelancing as an entertainment reporter in Los Angeles. Furthermore, she is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
