Chuck Henry is an American Emmy award-winning anchor who is currently working at KNBC. He serves as the co-anchor of the 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 11 p.m newscast. In addition, he joined the NBC4 news team in 1994.

He reported from Las Vegas in October 2017, while covering the worst mass shooting in modern history. He was also the only television reporter allowed to visit and report from “the most bombed place on Earth,” the Nevada Test Site that was ground zero in America’s nuclear testing program. Furthermore, he was also the only reporter ever to be allowed into the secret Good Shepard Shelter and granted interviews with residents and managing staff.
His broadcasting career started in Honolulu where worked at KHVH-TV in 1966 serving as an anchor and reporter in 1966. In addition, he also worked at KENI-TV an NBC affiliate in Anchorage, Alaska, and at WMAQ-TV in Chicago. Furthermore, was the executive producer and host of the Emmy award-winning “Travel Café.” Furthermore, he also served as the host and producer of “Eye on L.A” which was a popular travel magazine program from 1984 to 1991.
In addition, he has received many awards and honors for his work as a producer, director, reporter, host, and anchor. Furthermore, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Television and Radio News Association among other awards include; a national Cable Ace Award for Best Host of a Series, Los Angeles Press Club Awards, and Los Angeles Area Emmys, Golden Mikes.
His feature series “Rock ‘N Roll Treasure,” which highlighted an insider’s treasure trove of never before seen photos and memorabilia of rock icons landed a Los Angeles Emmy nomination, Los Angeles Press Club Award, Henry a Golden Mike. Furthermore, he earned the Los Angeles Emmy Award for Outstanding Feature Reporting for his 2009 body of work from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences 2010.
