Christina Carilla is an American anchor and reporter who is currently working at FOX 10 where she serves as the co-anchor of the weeknight newscast at 4, 5, and 9 pm alongside John Hook. She first joined the FOX 10 News team in 2018 as an anchor for KUTP’s FOX 10.
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is her native home. Previously, she resided in Fort Myers, Florida where she worked at ABC 7 (WZVN) serving as a morning anchor for a period of three years before relocating to Arizona in June 2018. In addition, she reported live from Fort Myers Beach as Hurricane Irma made landfall, and proceeded to devastate a number of Florida communities in September 2017. Furthermore, she has also had the opportunity to interview the co-host of ABC’s “The View” from the Walt Disney World Resort.
She also worked at KNWA/Fox 24 in Fayetteville, Arkansas where she served as a multimedia journalist for a period of eighteen months. Not long after, she was promoted to serve as the evening reporter, weekend anchor, and producer, before ultimately serving as the permanent fill-in anchor on the Fox prime-time evening desk. Furthermore, she covered a number of controversial topics including gay marriage and medical marijuana while she was in KNWA.
In addition, she had the opportunity to interview actress Geena Davis at her inaugural Bentonville Film Festival in 2015. She attended Temple University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcasting, media studies, and production. Prior, she did complete a number of internships with major companies such as The Disney College Program, and a full-time internship for “Today in LA” with the NBC News affiliate in Los Angeles, California.
