Christian Farr Biography
Christian Farr is an American reporter and anchor working for NBC5 as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor. He joined the NBC 5 news team in August 2009, after previously working for WTTW.
While Farr worked for WTTW, he served as a correspondent and fill-in host for the “Chicago Tonight” program, and he worked at the station for 3 years. Before joining the WTTW team, Christian worked for the FOX affiliate WTXF in Philadelphia where he served as a weekend morning anchor and reporter. Inaddition, he worked for WTXF for six years before later working for CNN as a freelance correspondent for almost one and a half years.
Christian attended the University of Delaware where he earned a bachelors degree. Later on, he also tudied at New York University where he studied broadcast journalism and graduated in 1996. After having graduated, Farr joined CNBC where he worked as a news associate on the Show Rivera Live hosted by Geraldo Rivera for two years. In addition, for his outstanding outstanding contributions to the field of broadcast journalism, he has received recorgnition from both the Ohio Associated Broadcasters Association and the New York State Broadcasters Association. Furthermore, Christian did a series on Dangerous Roads in Ohio in 2000, for which he won the E. W. Scripps School of Journalism
