Christian Colón is an American reporter working for NBC6 and Telemundo 51 as a crime and court reporter. He joined the NBC6 news team in February 2023.
Prior to joining the NBC6 team, Christian worked for WFSB-CBS Channel 3 in Hartford, Connecticut where he served as a multimedia journalist. Before that, he worked for KRGV-ABC Channel 5 News where he served as a Spanish and English reporter. In addition, he has also worked for AZTECA in Mcallen, Texas where he covered the Southern U.S.-Mexico border from both sides of the border.
Furthermore, Christian is passionate about giving a voice to the voiceless. He is also a believer that in times of misinformation, it is crucial for bilingual journalists to get the truth out to underserved communities.
