Christian Cázares is an American Emmy award-winning bilingual journalist who is working at KLAS-TV. He serves as the co-anchor of the evening newscast at 4 p.m and reports for the 5 p.m, 6 p.m, and 11 p.m newscast as well as the Spanish news briefs. In addition, he joined the 8 News Now team in 2020.
San Diego, California is his native home, and he traveled from coast to coast to report on stories that impact the community. Some of the notable reporting that he has covered include; the 2015 Papal Visit to Philadelphia, California Wildfires, 2016 Presidential Debates between Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton, and the casino downfall of Atlantic City. In addition, reported to Spanish and English- speaking audiences the devastation that Hurricane Irma left in Miami in 2017.
