Chris Widlic Biography
Chris Widlic is an American sports anchor and reporter working for CBS4/FOX59 as a weekend evening meteorologist. He joined the CBS4 sports team in December 2017, after previously working for WISH-TV.
Widlic worked at WCIA-TV in Champaign, Illinois as a sports anchor and reporter for 12 years. Later on, he covered sports for the Big Ten Network before later joining WISH-TV in December 2003. He covered sports at WISH-TV till 2017 when he left the station. In addition, Chris’ first assignment was to ride with the Colts in their playoffs.
Over the years, he has covered; Final Fours, Super Bowls, and the Greatest Spectacle in Racing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He has followed; Notre Dame, IU, Butler, Purdue, and also Valparaiso through a handful of NCAA tournaments along with the best in prep athletics. Furthermore, he received recognition from the Associated Press.
