Chris Tanaka is an American anchor working for WBZ-TV as an evening co-anchor of the 5:30 pm newscast alongside Paula Ebben. He also worked at TV38 where he serves as an 8 pm anchor.
Tanaka joined WBZ-TV in 2022, after previously working in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the years, his outstanding work has received recognition and he was awarded an Emmy and Associate Press awards. The awards were presented to him for his coverage of both news and sports in a number of the most incredible places across the country such as; Colorado, California, Montana, and Hawaii.
In addition, Tanaka was brought up in Derry, New Hampshire, and attended Boston College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in communications and media studies.
