Chelsea Chandler is an American anchor, reporter, and meteorologist working at WREG News. She serves as the anchor and meteorologist for the “Daybreak” program. In addition, Chandler joined the WREG News team in August 2026, after previously working at Fox 16.

Chandler attended Mississippi State University, where she studied atmospheric science and meteorology. She has also studied at Penn State World Campus, where she studied meteorology. In addition, Chelsea attended Christian Brothers University, where she studied psychology and graduated in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.

Later on, Chandler joined the TEGNA station, where she served as a featured reporter when she joined the station. After having worked for seven years, she became the traffic reporter, a position she served for another seven years.
In addition, Chelsea later became a meteorologist in Memphis, Tennessee. She served as the weekend morning and midday meteorologist at the station for 7 years. During this time, she covered many severe weather events. Furthermore, Chandler covered everything from breaking news to severe weather to the stories that make Memphis such a special place to call home. During this time, she also actively engaged with the community at every opportunity she got. More to that, Chandler served as a fill-in anchor while still serving as a weather and traffic reporter.
Over the years Chandler has received a number of recognitions for being one of the Mid-South’s most decorated broadcasters. In addition, she received honors from Memphis Most and the Memphis Elegance Awards as Best Anchor. More than that, she was honored as Best TV Weatherperson, Best TV Personality, and Best TV Reporter.
She has also worked for ESPN News as a sideline reporter. In her role, she covered Memphis Tigers athletics while also giving her experience in almost every corner of local television. Furthermore, Chelsea joined the FOX13 Memphis team in November 2022 as a meteorologist. Later in April 2025, she became the anchor of the station’s morning newscast, Good Morning Memphis, in addition to her meteorologist role. However, she decided to leave the FOX 13 team in 2026 and was announced to be joining WREG on July 9, 2026.
