Chace Beech is an American anchor and reporter working for Spectrum News 1 as a multimedia journalist. She joined the Spectrum News 1 news team in December 2020, after previously working for Los Angeles Times.

Beech holds a master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Kenyon College in Ohio. After graduating from Kenyon, she joined the NBCU Page Program in New York. Beech joined Multimedia Spectrum News in December 2020 and since then she has covered a wide range of topics including the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors, the homelessness crisis, City Hall, the 2021 midterm elections, local politics, and the election of Mayor Karen Bass.
Moreover, Beech worked on The Lives Lost, a memorial project honoring individuals who passed away in California as a result of COVID-19, while she was a Pulitzer Fellow at the Los Angeles Times. At the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Beech started covering the impact of the war in the U.S., speaking with Ukrainian Americans and refugees arriving in Los Angeles. In 2022, the LA Press Club honored her with the third-place prize for her reporting at the National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Awards. During her spare time, Beech loves exploring the beautiful California coastline, reading a great book, browsing local flea markets, and spending time with her family.
