Jacksonville, Texas is Claiborne’s native home and he attended the University of North Texas in Denton where he earned a major in Electronic News. He began his broadcasting career on radio in f Jacksonville, while he was 16 years old. He served as the Saturday morning host of “Let’s Talk” on KEBE AM 1400. Prior to relocating to Austin, Casey worked at KETK in Tyler, Texas where he served as a weekend morning anchor and reporter.
In addition, while Claiborne works at FOX 7, he has often covered breaking news and the City of Austin politics. He has also covered Austin City Limits Music Festival, the Super Bowl in Houston, and SXSW. She has also had the privilege to interview a number of his heroes such as; Mark Hamill, Stevie Nicks, William Shatner, Garth Brooks, Steve Carrell, Willie Nelson, and Beach Boys legend Brian Wilson.
