Caroline Coles Biography
Caroline Coles is an American anchor and reporter working for FOX 35 as a weekend morning anchor of Good Day Orlando. She joined the FOX 35 Orlando team in June 2023.
Atlanta, Georgia is Coles’ native home, however, her family has also resided in Maryland and Tennessee before settling in Parkland, Florida. She attended Columbia University where she studied in its School of Journalism and earned a master’s degree. She also studied at Howard University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
Prior to joining the FOX 35 news team, she worked for WPBF 25 News in West Palm Beach, Florida where she served as a breaking news, fill-in anchor, and traffic reporter. While she worked at WPBF 25 News, she pitched and produced a number of Project CommUNITY stories. In addition, she also improved community relations, bridging the divide, and a franchise focused on reporting on divisive issues affecting local communities.
Before Caroline joined WPBF 25, she worked in Salisbury, Maryland where she served as an anchor and reporter. In addition, she has also worked in New York City at NBC News, and while she was at the station, she had the privilege to work with veteran news journalist Ann Curry. Caroline firmly believes in the power of community service and journalism. During her leisure time, she enjoys; worshiping at church, hosting local community programs, working out, working with nonprofits, and doing Pilates. Furthermore, she is a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
