Carolina Sanchez is an American host working for FOX 26, as the host of The Nightcap which airs late at night. She joined the FOX 26 news team in 2013 and is an AP.
Dallas is Sanchez’s native home and she made a decision to pursue a career in journalism while writing for her middle school newspaper. She attended New York University where she earned a degree in journalism and sociology. Carolina has worked at FOX News Channel and while she was at the station, she worked in the field, wrote, and produced news. In addition, when she joined FOX 26 in 2013, she served as an AP and later on, she transitioned to the digital team.
Furthermore, Carolina has covered major events and special projects for FOX 26. She has covered Super Bowl LI, many World Cups, Heroes of Harvey, and the Pope’s U.S. visit during the World Meeting of Families. In 2018, Sanchez launched the station’s social media news show known as The Break. While she served as the host of The Break, she received two Emmy Award nominations and won a Telly Award.
