Brooks Baptiste is an American anchor working for CBS46 where he serves as a weekday morning anchor from 7 am to 9 am. He joined CBS46 in October 2021, after previously working for First Coast News. 

In 2013, he joined the University of North Florida where he graduated in 2017, with a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication and media studies. Prior to joining Atlanta News First, he worked for the NBC and ABC affiliates in Jacksonville, Florida where he served as a multimedia journalist and trending news anchor for 5 years. While he was in the River City, he launched “The Buzz,” which is a franchise that gained millions of views online and sparked conversation surrounding a number of the city’s biggest stories. During his leisure time, he enjoys trying new restaurants, enjoying live music, and relaxing by the pool.
