Brittney Shipp is an American meteorologist working for NBC10 as a weekday evening meteorologist. She joined the NBC10 news team in 2018, after previously working for KYMA-TV.

Shipp earned a bachelor’s degree in International Development Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. She has also earned a Certificate of Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. After working for two years as the Chief Meteorologist at KRON-TV in the San Francisco Bay Area, Brittney rejoined NBC10. The extreme tornado outbreaks that occurred in the summer of 2021 are the weather event that Brittney remembers the most. In contrast, her second winter, which occurred in 2014 and resulted in nearly 68 inches of snowfall at Philadelphia International Airport, is the second snowiest winter ever recorded.
Brittney began her career as a morning features/weather reporter at KYMA-TV in Yuma, Arizona. For four national morning shows—NBC’s Early Today, MSNBC’s Morning Joe, First Look, and Way Too Early—Brittney has filled in as the weather anchor.
