Brianna Mellon is an American Emmy award-winning sports anchor and reporter who is currently working at KFSN-TV. In addition, she joined the ABC30 Action News sports team in September 2019.
Thousand Oaks, California is her native home and it makes her happy to be back in her hometown. She attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, and while she was in the university, she reported for the school’s athletic show Gaucho Vision.
Furthermore, she also interned at KEYT News Channel 3 and landed a job at the station before graduation. Later on, she relocated to Amarillo, Texas where she worked at KFDA News Channel 10 serving as a sports director.
For a period of two years, she covered West Texas high school football before her next adventure across the country. Not long ago, she worked at WOWT News 6 in Omaha, Nebraska where she served as a sports anchor and reporter. In addition, she has covered two College World Series, Nebraska athletics, and Creighton athletics while she was there.
Furthermore, she also followed the Husker’s first season under new Head Coach Scott Frost and Clovis West native Adrian Martinez. While growing up, she played sports despite the fact that soccer was her first love after she played it competitively. During her leisure time, she enjoys working out, traveling, and being at the beach.
