Briana Conner is an American anchor and reporter who is currently working at KTRK-TV. She joined the ABC13 Houston team in June 2021 as an anchor and reporter.
Houston, Texas is her native home and she attended Hightower High School where she graduated proudly. She began her career in Victoria, Texas, and not long ago, she covered the Triad community in North Carolina. In addition, while she was in North Carolina, she covered local and national events such as the subsequent removal of the Confederate Flag from the South Carolina State House, the massacre at Mother Emmanuel AME Church, the 2016 and 2020 elections, Hurricane Florence, the Panthers Super Bowl run in 2016, and NCAA March Madness.
Furthermore, she also attended The University of Texas at Austin and to date, she continues a close relationship with her alma mater. Additionally, while she was at the university, she was a member of the UT Pom Squad. In addition, she is passionate about community and board service.
She serves as the Winston-Salem Urban League Vice-Chair, prior to being an advisory board member for the chamber of commerce. Furthermore, she volunteers with The American Heart Association, the local food bank, and the Girl Scouts and enjoys working with cultural arts centers.
