Brian Sanders is an American anchor who is currently working at Denver7. He serves as the morning anchor of the 5, 6, and 10 pm newscasts. He was also a prominent member of the Denver7 Problem Solvers team.
Previously, he worked at the E.W. Scripps Company’s station in Tulsa for a period of four years and while he was at the station, he was part of the award-winning evening team. He has also covered high-profile events such as the Oklahoma City Bombing Anniversary, the Dallas police ambush, and Hurricane Harvey.
In addition, he has also worked at KXAN in Austin where he serves as the morning anchor before he relocated to Tulsa. He started his career as a sports anchor and reporter before switching to the news desk in 2012. While he was still at KXAN, he extensively covered the building of the Circuit of the Americas and the return of Formula One to the United States.
Furthermore, Brian has traveled to New York where he covered the Heisman Trophy ceremony twice with former Texas Longhorns Quarterback Colt McCoy. Houston is his native home and he attended Texas A&M University where he graduated proudly. During his downtime, he enjoys exploring the city attractions or the many parks and trails.
