Brhett Vickery is an American reporter working for WGN as a weekday morning news and traffic reporter from 4 am to 9 am. She joined the WGN news team in December 2023, after previously working for FOX 6.
Southwest suburban Homer Glenis Vickery’s nativ home. She attended Liberty University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media and Communication Arts in 2018. While Brhett was in college, she was a sideline reporter and host for her school’s sports network. Later on, she was able to secure an internship with NBC Sports Chicago during her junior year. In addition, while she worked for NBC Sports, she worked on events such as the Chicago Bulls NBA Draft coverage, White Sox games, and Chicago Cubs.
After living out of state for nearly 10 years, Vickery is back home. Before she joined WGN, she worked in Milwaukee for FOX 6 where she served as a multimedia journalist for almost 3 years. While she worked at WGN, she also served as a general assignment reporter. Before that, she also worked at WSET-TV in Lynchburg, Virginia where she served as a multimedia journalist. In addition, during her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her two rescue dogs and her husband.
