Brennan Somers Biography

Brennan Somers is an American former anchor who is best known for his time at WHEC-TV. He joined the News10NBC team in October 2017 and served as the anchor of News10NBC Today. Furthermore, he hosted Rochester in Focus and reports for the Good Question segment.

Previously, he worked in Richmond, Virginia at WTVR CBS6, and in Washington, D.C at DCW50. While he was in these stations, he served in several roles such as working as an anchor, producer, and reporter. His broadcasting career began at WMBF News Today in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. While he was at WMBF News Today, he began serving as a weekend anchor, and later on, he became a morning anchor.

For his education, he attended the University of Memphis where he did his undergrad, and later on, he attended Syracuse University where he received a master’s degree in broadcast/digital journalism. During his leisure time, he likes running, brewing beer, and playing golf. In addition, he does own a house filled with pets.
