Bernie Lo is a Canadian anchor who is currently working at CNBC’s Hong Kong studios. He serves as the anchor of Squawk Box which is the network’s flagship morning program. 

While serving as an anchor, he has had the privilege to interview political leaders such as; former UK Prime Minister John Major, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, and former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, and important business personalities such as; Meg Whitman, Richard Branson, Larry Ellison, and   Bill Gates.

In addition, he is a recipient of multiple awards at the Asian Television Awards such as Best Current Affairs Presenter in 2000 and 2011 and Best News Anchor in 2013. Furthermore, in 2014, he won the New York Festival, Silver World Medal, for Best News Anchor at the International Television and Film Awards.

Bernie attended TheEvergreen State College in Olympia, Washington where he graduated with a B.A. degree. He also attended the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho where he earned an M.S. degree.
