Ben Aaron is an American correspondent working for PIX 11 as a featured correspondent on the 9 am to 11 am morning newscast. He joined the PIX 11 team in 2020.
In 2020, Aaron joined the morning team as part of the expansion of the show. Previously, he ha served as the co-host of the nationally syndicated Pickler & Ben with Kellie Pickler. While serving as co-host, he got nominated twice for a Daytime Emmy Award in the Best Host category. In addition, Ben previously worked at New York Live for ten years and while he was at the station, he served as a featured reporter and this earned him 4 Emmys.
Furthermore, he has also worked for Entertainment Tonight, EXTRA, and the Today Show. Not long ago, Ben teamed up with his wife Ginger Zee, who is the chief meteorologist for Good Morning America. Together they dis a home renovation show on the DIY Network known as Renovation Realities that earned them an Emmy nomination. In addition, Aaaron attended Emerson College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in media.
