Audra Stafford is an American Emmy-Award Winning reporter working for NCB7 San Diego as a morning reporter and fill-in anchor. She joined the NBC 7 news team in 2003, after previously working for MSN(US).
Stafford graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Television, Film, and New Media Production. While there, she was awarded and also received two Student Emmys. In her career, she has interviewed many of the entertainment industry’s finest actors, producers, musicians, and directors. Some of them include; Idina Menzel, Tom Cruise, Frankie Valli, Robin Williams, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Jerry Bruckheimer among others.
She is also a correspondent for the syndicated lifestyle show California Life and BroadwayWorld.com and is the host of Broadway and San Diego’s annual Season Preview TV special. Additionally, she has been recognized and is the recipient of seven Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Pacific Southwest Chapter. In addition, she is a member of SAG-AFTRA and the SDSU Alumni Association. In her downtime, she enjoys going to the theater, and the beach and exploring everything San Diego has to offer.
