Ashley Kramlich is an American meteorologist working for WSB-TV as a weekday evening meteorologist at 4 pm. She joined the WSB team on January 27, 2023, after previously working for WSOC-TV/Channel 9.
Kramlich was brought up in East Cobb and she attended Walton High School where she graduated proudly. Later on, she joined Mississippi State University where she earned a degree in meteorology. Ashley was awarded the Certificate of Broadcast Meteorology (CBM) which is the highest certification a meteorologist can receive. In addition, she has been passionate about the weather for as long as she can remember. She recalls sitting on the back porch with her father as they watched thunderstorms rolling in.
Before Kramlich joined Channel 2 Action News, she worked at WSOC-TV in Tyler, Texas where she served as the morning meteorologist. She tracked racking major tornado outbreaks along with Hurricane Harvey while working in Tyler, Texas. In addition, she has spent time in Baltimore while covering snowstorms and ice. After that, she worked for WSOC-TV in Charlotte as a weekend morning meteorologist. During her leisure time, she enjoys playing tennis, traveling with her husband, or snuggling up with her dog.
