Fleischer received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Middlebury College, in Vermont. Ari Fleischer is the current president of both Ari Fleischer Sports Communications and Ari Fleischer Communications. In this role, Fleischer provides political analysis for daytime and primetime programming on FOX News Channel (FNC) and FOX Business Network (FBN). Fleischer worked for former President George W. Bush as his press secretary in the White House before coming to FNC.

The White House issued a brief statement regarding the lesions when reporters called White House press secretary Ari Fleischer’s office to inquire about the spots. The statement said that the president routinely uses sunscreen and receives periodic evaluations, as is recommended for all individuals with a history of, or anticipating significant sun exposure.
