Anthony Richardson is an American college football quarterback for the Florida Gators. He demonstrated an outstanding performance with a 73-yard touchdown run at a young age, establishing himself as the starting quarterback.

He attended Eastside High School in Gainesville, Florida, and while he was there, he played on the football team. During his high school career, he had 1,633 rushing yards and 41 touchdowns along with 4,633 passing yards with 37 passing touchdowns.  Later when he joined the University of Florida, he began playing in its football team, Florida Gators. In addition, during his first year at Florida University, he only appeared in 4 games back in 2022, where he completed one of two passes for 27 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

In 2021, Richardson joined the backup to Emory Jones however, he still learned more playing time. While the Florida Gators played against LSU Tigers, he replaced Jones and he was able to complete 10 of 19 passes for 167 yards with two interceptions, three touchdowns, and a rushing touchdown. Furthermore, on September 3, 2022, Anthony played an important role in unranking Florida’s upset of seventh-ranked Utah. Anthony threw a 16-yard touchdown while playing against Vanderbilt on November 26, 2022.
