Anne Campolongo is an American meteorologist working at KCCI where she serves as a weekday and weekend meteorologist. She joined the KCCI Storm team 8 in September 2021, after previously working for KPTV in Portland, Oregon.
While she worked at KPTV, she served as an evening meteorologist for the 8 pm and 9 pm newscast for a period of 3 years. Prior to working at KPTV, she worked at KDRV in Southern Oregon, Medford where she also served as a meteorologist. Campolongo is from outside Cincinnati, Ohio and she attended Ohio University from 2011 to 2016, where she earned a dual degree in meteorology and journalism. In addition, Anne has always been passionate about weather since she was in 2nd grade and she interned at a number of stations while she was in college, while also working at the local PBS station in Athens, Ohio.
Aside from her career in weather, she also loves tapping into her Italian roots which have been an important part of her life. She enjoys her family’s delicious home-cooked Italian meals and ventures to Italy to meet some of her relatives. She also loves the novelty of a handwritten note, which never goes out of style. During her free time, she enjoys exploring Iowa together with her newly adopted dog Flynn, eating at the local food and coffee scene, and volunteering with the community.
