Ann Nyberg is an American anchor who is currently working at WTNH. She serves as the anchor of the 6, 10, and 11 pm nightly newscasts and produces and hosts her own show called NYBERG. In addition, she is the longest-serving female anchor and reporter in Connecticut television history.

She was initiated into the prestigious Silver Circle in November 2015, which is an honor for television professionals who have made notable contributions to their community. For ten years, she has been voted for as the best news anchor in the Connecticut Magazine reader’s poll.
A number of the stories she has told include; a trip to CHER’S house for an interview, the Vatican to cover Pope John Paul II, and assignments to the communist country of Cuba. She was recognized as a woman of success who pays it forward during the year of Harper’s Bazaar Magazine’s 150th anniversary in 2017. In addition, her storytelling journey began with a diary her mother gave her for Christmas when she was 8 years old.
Ann attended Purdue University where she graduated with a degree in journalism. After she had graduated, she began her broadcasting journey in Oklahoma and Indiana before she relocated to Connecticut. In addition, she founded the Toy Closet Program at Yale-New Haven Hospital back in 1993, and over the years, hundreds of thousands of toys have been given to children of all ages to assist ease their trauma.
Furthermore, she is in love with art and is a founding Board of Trustees member of Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center which is situated in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. Worldwide, it is the only theater that has been named after the iconic four-time Academy Award-winning Connecticut actress. In addition, the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center awarded her with the Spirit of Katharine Hepburn Award in 2018.
