Anisha Ramakrishna is an Indian-born American-based entrepreneur, podcaster, and reality television star. She is a cast member on the Bravo TV reality show, Family Karma which premiered for its 3rd season on November 6, 2022, at 9:00 pm. 

Anisha Ramakrishna Career

In 2003, Ramakrishna joined Florida International University where she graduated in 2005, with a Bachelor of Arts. Later on, she studied at the University of Miami Herbert Business School, where she graduated in 2009, with a Masters.

In 2011, Ramakrishna resided in New York where she worked with a fashion brand, and later in 2017, she began her very own clothing fashion brand known as Currently. Her clothing fashion brand is devoted to designing clothes for women of all backgrounds and shapes. Her all-size-inclusive clothing line is thriving two years after its successful launch as she continues to make her mark in the fashion industry.  In addition to her clothing line, she sells a variety of merchandise under the label No Sharam.

In addition to running her very own weekly Apple Podcast, Currently Cringing. Prior to Anisha joining the Family Karma reality show, she worked at Tahair, ASL where she served as the vice president for more than 6 years. For almost 3 years, she served as a senior brand manager for L & T Fashion.

During the first season of Family Karma, Vishal made attempts to mend his friendship with Anisha. Vishal and Anisha had been friends for over ten years, however, their friendship faced a rift after their mutual friend Bali Chainani informed Anisha that Vishal was “downplaying” his friendship with her. Anisha turned a cold shoulder to Vishal every time he made efforts to mend their friendship. Finally, the two ironed out their issues at Bali’s party while Bali was not around. In addition, during the ist season, Anisha’s mother’s opinions reinforced her decision to freeze her eggs. Her aunties had requested her to freeze her eggs over four years ago.

Furthermore, Ramakrishna gained 13kg (30 lbs) after her split from her long-term boyfriend, Vishnu. In addition, to her weight gain, she decided to chop off her hair. During the second season, of the show, she began taking better care of herself and ended up losing an incredible amount of weight. She also admitted to having come back more mature sand with a great glow-up. In addition, she was also joined by her childhood friend Dillon Patel during the second season.
