Angelica Campos is an American meteorologist who is currently working at ABC10 where she serves as a weekday evening meteorologist on The Now which airs on 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 11 p.m. She joined the ABC 10 Sandiego team in June 2015, in addition to also working on NewsRadio 600 KOGO where she served as a weekday evening meteorologist.
Prior to joining ABC 10 in Sandiego, she worked at Fox8 News in Cleveland, Ohio where she served as a morning and weekend meteorologist. She began her broadcast meteorology career at AccuWeather in State College, Pennsylvania where she served as a bilingual meteorologist speaking in both Spanish and English across the county and a number of countries such as Canada, Puerto Rico, and Jamaica. San Jose, Costa Rica is her native home and when she was 13 years old, her family relocated to America.
Campos attended West Georgia University through a scholarship and she graduated with a degree in Mass Communications. Later on, she joined Mississippi State University where she studied Broadcast Meteorology. She is an active member of Team Hoyt San Diego and during her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her fur babies called Doppler and Jasmine, running, hiking, skydiving, and surfing.
