Andrew Kalista is an American sports anchor and reporter working for FOX 43 as a weekday and weekend sports anchor and reporter. He joined the FOX 43 team in October 2016.
Kalista has always been a sports fan and he attended his first college football game when he was 10 months old. Andrew has been attending almost every home game of the Nittany Lions for the last 20 years. In addition, he attended Syracuse University where he graduated from its Newhouse School with a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism, history, geography, and economics.
Andrew taught in his local area for over one year and he later relocated to Charlottesville, VA where he worked at Newsplex. For Kalista’s first television job, he served as a morning assistant producer. Not long after, he relocated to State College, PA, and WHVL-TV where he worked for years. In addition, while Andrew worked at WHVL, he served as a play-by-play, side-line reporter, host of his own political talk show, and co-host of the Penn State Football post-game show alongside Jeff Byers on ESPN radio.
